Course Memo

Most Americans who own a home, a car, or another titled/deeded asset can benefit from a trust.  Anyone who wishes to help protect or control their assets during life and after death can benefit from a trust.  But what kind of trust does one need?  What are the tax implications of a trust?  Can someone change their trust after it is created?  Can someone else change my trust after I die? People are full of questions surrounding this area of estate planning, and many of the beliefs and information readily available are simply not true.  This course will teach you the basics of trusts, such as what a trust is, how it works, the benefits of trusts, and the major types of trusts.  The instructor for this course is an experienced attorney who will answer your questions and help you better understand these estate planning tools.
