Phlebotomy Technician (MED06)

Students gain hands-on experience in blood collection, specimen handling, venipuncture and finger stick techniques, and more in this exciting class. Students gain experience by drawing blood from each other. The documented experience gained during this class allows you to take a National Phlebotomy Certification exam through National Health Careers Association (NHA). Students wishing to take the national certification exam must have a high school diploma or equivalent and pay an online testing fee of $129 (subject to change) to NHA. Textbook included.
