Firefighter/EMT (Adult)

This career major examines the global view of firefighting to include the fire service career, roles of fire service personnel, early traditions and history, fire prevention, firefighter safety, public fire and life safety education, fire investigation, fire related scientific terminology, building construction, fire detection, fire suppression, the role of public and private support organizations, fire and emergency services, and fire department organization and management. Emphasis is on exploration, and analysis of the fire service.
